Product Details

Our shower curtains are made from 100% polyester fabric and include 12 holes at the top of the curtain for simple hanging from your own shower curtain rings. The total dimensions of each shower curtain are 71" wide x 74" tall.

Artist's Description

This is my hometown, I left there in 1997. I Miss it! Picture was taken on October 09.2009
Cumberland was called "The Gateway to the West". Many travelers from the east heading west came through Cumberland. Ports of Baltimore, Washington DC and surrounding areas were the ones to travel through. Cumberland is steeped in history. A most beautiful setting and Historical place in Maryland. To name a few things, it was the beginning of the C&O Canal which only went from Cumberland to Washington D.C., shipping goods back and forth the 184.5 mile stretch. Youngsters would walk mules from lock to lock. When it was built, it was built by picks, shovels, ax, saws, wheelbarrows and strong backed laborers. The canal operated from 1831 to 1924.
Another excellent, historical topic to mention is George Washington had a headquarters there in the fort called " Fort Cumberland". His cabin is still there, which is the only building standing from the original, Fort Cumberland" His long standi...
